This group was originally formed as an extension of the Music Group and gives an opportunity for all members of Leeds U3A, many of whom live alone, to attend concerts and theatres in the company of friends. In the past year we have been able to choose between orchestral concerts and recitals of classical and light music, brass band concerts and popular musicals and ballet at theatres. If possible we always try to arrange for members to travel together.

The group meets in the bar lounge of the Moor Allerton Sports and Social Centre, from 10.30 am to 12 noon each Wednesday, except the second Wednesday of each month. A broad range of recorded music is offered for pleasurable listening and viewing on compact disc, DVDs and video cassettes making use of the Leeds U3A's 27 inch TV.
